Abu Dhabi is the capital of the UAE. The rapid development and urbanization of the city, coupled with huge reserves and production of oil and gas, as well as the relatively high average income of its population, has turned the city into a large and developed metropolis. Today the city is the center of the country’s political and industrial activity, and major cultural and commercial center, due to its position as the
capital. As a result, it will be stated that this city is the heart of the Middle East.
Moreover, the main sectors of the economy of Abu Dhabi: oil, gas and petrochemical, fish, small shipbuilding, etc. Sure, these areas have a strong potential. However, it is known that if the country has two or three main sectors of the economy (even if it is prospective), the sustainable growth would stop permanently. It can be changed considering the process of globalization, technical development worldwide or any kind of crisis.
However, considering both the strongest and the weakest sides, Abu Dhabi itself has a strong economic influence on the entire UAE, it causes a lot of competition within the country amid the internal enterprises.
